Bio

Crystal Felarion is, essentially, a busybody with a purpose. She's a born meddler; it comes with being able to make oneself invisible and/or intangible at will, I suppose. A shadowmelder and illusionist from the town of Lekashir, Crystal was raised surrounded by ghosts, spirits, and the occasional fey. (Not even mentioning her fellow mages, who were an eclectic mix of humans, furkin like her, halfkin, feytouched, and dragontouched individuals! Yeah... Kandask is an unusual kingdom.) In her school days, Crystal was a constant trouble magnet. An inquisitive personality meant that she often poked her nose into places it wasn't welcome, and she often uncovered problems that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. However, instead of it killing her, this cat was able to turn her curiosity into a career. After graduation, she worked odd jobs during the day; however, at night, she would patrol the haunted streets of Lekashir, using her mastery of illusions and shadow magic to prevent or stop crimes from the shadows. The people began to call her Ghostwalker. It stuck.

By 1837, she has turned being Ghostwalker into her full-time job. She has developed an extensive information network (they call themselves the Wraiths, which she just shakes her head and laughs at), numerous different aliases, and an excellent position with the Griffite city guard. She alternates between three cities, generally, but the story of the Ghostwalker is known across the kingdom of Kandask, and a few Wraiths have even taken up the Ghostwalker's mantle in far-off cities to perpetuate the legend. Sometimes, though, a case will lead her far afield...

When she encounters people for the first time, it's generally under an alias; even if she's using her real name, you can bet that she's putting on at least a little bit of an act. She greatly enjoys wearing these social masks and finding out more about people by adapting them. Comes with being an investigative busybody, I guess.
